Frank Lotierzo

Frank former professional boxer, writer for Muck Rack, Boxing Scene, NY Fights and Boxing Illustrated, author of the Sweet Science, and Hannibal Boxing. Has long been considered by many boxing insiders to be one of the sport’s best fight analyst. His work has appeared in Fight Game, Boxing-Illustrated, and Uppercut magazine. Prior to his career as a writer, Mr. Lotierzo hosted Toe-To-Toe on ESPN Radio and trained at Joe Frazier’s Gym in Philadelphia under the tutelage of Hall of Fame trainer George Benton. Between 1977 and 1982, he had over 50 fights as an amateur and pro in the middleweight division. Frank is also a member of the International Boxing Research Organization and a former member of the Boxing Writers Association of America. During the years circa 1977-82, George Benton personally consulted with him before placing his money on fights.
